Do the rooms have views?

Yes, every cottage at Jungle Lore Birding Lodge offers a different picturesque view of the verdant hills, lush green valley & forest of Pangot.

Why don’t you install a TV in the rooms?

Tv is not installed in the rooms of Jungle Lore Birding Lodge so that it does not affect the idyllic setting of the Himalayas and our guests rekindle their bond with mother nature.

How far is the dining area from our rooms?

The dining area is just a few steps away from the room.

Do you have a 24 hours power backup service?

Yes

What about early check-in / late check-in / late checkout?

You have to inform the sales office in advance of early check-in, late check-in, and late check-out.

How far is the parking area from the rooms?

The parking area is within walking distance from the cottages of Jungle Lore Birding Lodge.

Which is the best time to visit?
  • The best time to visit Pangot for migrants (birds) is November to early March.
  • For photography and native species, it is good throughout the year.
  • May and June are hot months and also very crowded due to the tourist influx.
  • July to Sep are rainy months and are good for armchair birding, photography, herpetology, etc.
  • The families will enjoy visiting Jungle Lore Birding Lodge from October to June.
  • For nature lovers, this place is good in every season and it depends on what the goal is, and what aspect of natural history is one interested in.

Because of the proximity to the dense forest, the connectivity of the wifi is loosely available at the lodge (Wifi available at the reception area & library)
